KSV Minitroughs Combine Languir Blodgett and Langmuir Film Balance Capabilities

KSV Minitrough miniature Langmuir Blodgett and Langmuir Film Balance is a compact and modular instrument. Its experimental capabilities and performance exceed that of many full size Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett devices, but at a quarter of the price!

With its interchangeable troughs the Minitrough handles the full range of Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett film experiments.

The KSV Minitrough Series is available in several basic modular configurations, however the modularity of the KSV Minitrough allows upgrade at any time. KSV provides a variety of special troughs for the Minitrough.

The Minitrough features symmetric or single-sided compression of the monolayer by two inter-linked surface barriers. T standard barriers are l eak-proof hydro philic Delrin, but hydrophobic PTFE barriers are also optionally available. The trough is a form-sintered single piece of non-porous PTFE trough.

Subphase temperature control is facilitated by aluminium heating/cooling base plate operated by optional external circulating water bath.

Surface pressure is available on the digital display.
