ASP Develop Low Magnetic Permeability Stainless

India’s Alloy Steel’s Plant have developed a special grade of stainless steel that has a very low magnetic permeability. The alloy was developed for a scientific project on ‘cosmic evolution’, co-ordinated by the Geneva-based Centre for European Nuclear Research.

The new stainless steel alloy was used to make the front assembly called “Dimuon Front Absorber”.

Based on the success of the first trial unit, Alloy Steel hope to receive orders for another five units.
