Chemson Take Over PVC Additive Maker Allstab

Chemson GmbH, a subsidiary of Chemson AG have acquired the German-based Allstab group. The acquisition takes effect as of January 5th.

Both companies are involved in the production of PVC additives, with Allstab being a leader in the PVC stabilisers field. They produce innovative one pack solutions for the window, pipe and cable markets.

The take over of Allstab includes three facilities located in Duren, Dahlem and Greiz in Germany, and another in Roermond, Holland. Their acquisition by Chemson helps to maintain longer term survival after a management buyout in 2002.

The acquisition also makes Chemson a European leader in their field.
