Magma form Nanotech Joint Venture with Chinese Academy of Sciences

Magma Design Automation Inc have formed a joint venture with the EDA center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Together they will establish the Nanotechnology Integrated Circuit Design Lab

Here they will develop and provide advanced integrated circuit design solutions for nanometer technologies based on Magma’s integrated RTL-to-GDSII flow. These will be used for education programmes, research projects and commercial applications by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and are aimed at increasing the availability of advanced integrated circuit design capabilities in China.

They will also work together to promote advanced nanotechnology integrated circuit design capabilities, establish postgraduate education programmes and explore nanotechnology design projects with domestic and international partners.
