The Bruker S8 Lion XRF Spectrometer for the Cement Industry

AXS introduces us to the S8 Lion, a new XRF unit designed specifically for
the cement industry. This is the latest in the S8 series and features multi-channel
analysis, which provides much faster analysis compared to sequential analysis
instruments.
The S8 Lion features 16 dedicated element channels suited to the analysis of
cement and related trace elements and is able to perform measurements within
60 seconds. It can also perform free lime analysis which is of importance to
the cement industry.

AXS is a compact unit offering the smallest footprint in the industry. It
is a stand alone unit with in-built computer and can be configured to work with
automated sample preparation equipment and XRD equipment to provide complete
elemental and mineralogical analysis.
