This interesting video presented by its founders shows how the Oxford Instruments company evolved and where it had come from. Coming from small beginnings and growing rapidly through the 70s and 80s, and restructuring due to economic factors and acquisition. More recently they have looked to increase in size using opportunities in nanotechnology, energy, health, security and environmental protection markets using their skills of working at the atomic level.
