The Admet DForce Dynamic Mechanical Tester - Fatigue Testing

Richard Gedney from Admet demonstrates the DForce Dynamic Mechanical Tester. The DForce is a static to dynamic mechanical tester suited to fatigue testing. Typical applications are biomedical devices such as stents and tubing.

The Admet DForce can supply loads of up to 275N at a rate of 15-20 Hertz at a speed of up to 5m/s.

Computer control via software permits static and dynamic testing, with the ability to collect data form up to 5 channels.

The unit can be mounted either horizontally or vertically and can be used in a bath to simulate various wet operating conditions.
