The EU will soon feel the impact of the recently published their definition of nanomaterials. Jeremy Warren from Nanosight indicates how this will impact EU, in particular areas such as ecotoxicology and environmental monitoring.

It is now well known that materials in with nano-sized particles behave differently to their macro sized analogues. This means the ability to characterize them is important. To this end the Nanosight NS500 will be a very important tool.
