Titanium Grades and Specifications

The following are some of the grades of titanium and their specifications.

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1

Grade 1 titanium is softer than any other grades. It has the highest ductility and excellent cold formability which provides mild to high oxidation resistance.

The table below provides the chemical composition of titanium grade 1.

Chemical Analysis of CP Titanium Grade 1
O N C H Fe Al V Ni Mo Pd Other Residual Ti
0.18 Max 0.03 Max 0.08 Max 0.015 Max 0.20 Max 0.4 Max Bal

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 2

Grade 2 titanium has moderate strength with exceptional weld ability and formability. It also has excellent high oxidization resistance.

The chemical composition of titanium grade 1 is given in the following table.

Chemical Analysis of CP Titanium Grade 2
O N C H Fe Al V Ni Mo Pd Other Residual Ti
0.25 Max 0.03 Max 0.08 Max 0.015 Max 0.30 Max 0.4 Max Bal
