Please could you tell me about Stress Engineering Services and why you're attending NPE today?
We are an engineering services company which helps with product development, such as engineering design and analysis, instrumentation and testing for thermal and fluid sciences, we work broadly within the polymer space.
What sets you apart from competitors in your space?
We do both failure analysis and product development in just about every business sector; from oil and gas to sports equipment, to medical consumer pharmaceutical devices. We are active across a broad range of fields, which gives us a wealth of experience and versatility.
Do you have any examples of success stories you would like to share?
We develop a great deal of cross bows. The issue there of course is arrow speed and the cross for the cross bow. We have worked with the manufacturer to develop the best performance possible within their budget.
Another thing we work on with our customers is keeping costs down but performance up. Plastic bottles, enclosure systems, so really basic rigid consumer packaging. It is always about the consumer preferred package and being able to keep the costs down, again.
Probably the biggest emphasis in packaging is in e-commerce packaging where the issue of liquids leakage is a big problem. We are developing methods to assist in e-commerce packaging distribution and improving performance in packaging.
