Nano-Tex Fabrics Use Nanotechnology To Eliminate Stains

Time Magazine has branded the products made using technology from Nano-Tex as some of the “coolest” products of 2003. Nano-Tex is an advanced materials company that uses proprietary nano-technologies to create, alter and improve textiles at the molecular level.

Their fabrics have a level of durability and performance that is far beyond that of normal textiles and the fabric treatments cannot either be seen or felt. The treatment particles are around one million times smaller than a grain of sand, this results in fabrics that remain breathable and maintain performance levels through their entire life. The Nano-tex fabrics lead the world in stain protection and repellency. The NANO-CARE and NANO-PEL treated fabrics repel spills with liquids simply beading up and rolling from the garment.

Now NANO-CARE2 (pronounced nano-care squared) offers double the protection from stains with the addition of superior soil release for fabrics challenged by stains left from grass, dirt and oil. From active work wear to children’s clothes, NANO-CARE2 is proving effective against tough ground-in stains on cotton based fabrics and NANO-PEL is providing the same benefits to synthetics. The treatments also prevent wrinkling.

Other treatments available include NANO-DRY to provide synthetic fabrics with advanced moisture control, which allows for faster drying and improved comfort and NANO-TOUCH, for the ultimate in comfort and luxurious performance by wrapping a cotton-like sheath around a durable synthetic core.
