McDanel Advanced Ceramic Technologies LLC is a leading manufacturer of high quality refractory tubes and sheaths, supplying major heat-using industries worldwide for over 80 years.

They offer high purity alumina, mullite, partially stabilized zirconia and sialon tubing. The impervious fine grained ceramic products are used in many applications where it is necessary to provide a protective atmosphere at high temperatures without contamination. Material selection depends upon operating working conditions such as peak temperature, chemical environment and abruptness of temperature change.

Various rods, tubes, crucibles, dishes, boats, trays and discs are standard items and a significant capability for producing custom shapes is available.

Small Diameter Ceramic Tubes and Rods

Small diameter tubes and rods are produced by extrusion. We offer solid rods, single, double and 4-bore tubing and oval double bore tubing at various stocked lengths. The maximum diameter available for these products is .500 inch.

Large Diameter Ceramic Tubes and Rods

Related Stories

Large diameter tubes are produced by slip casting. These are available as Closed One End (COE) or Open Both Ends (OBE) tubes with a round shape. The sizes of these tubes range from 1/4 inch OD to 9.5 inches OD by various lengths. If a special shaped tube is required, please advise and we will be happy to quote.
