Introduction
The copper alloy UNS C42500 is a brass alloy of copper, zinc and tin. High electrical and thermal conductivity enables UNS C42500 to be used in heat exchanger tubing. UNS C42500 copper alloy is preferred for water fittings due to its anti-corrosive nature. Excellent cold working characteristic of UNS C42500 makes it suitable for machining.
The following datasheet provides the chemical composition and properties of UNS C42500 copper alloy.
