Welding

Welding processes suitable for UNS C83800 alloy include coated metal arc welding, grazing and soldering. Welding processes not recommended for this alloy include carbon arc welding, oxyacetylene welding and gas shielded arc welding.

Heat Treatment

UNS C83300 alloy has stress relieving temperature of 260°C (500°F). This alloy does not react to heat treatment. The time at temperature for this alloy is one hour per inch of section thickness.
