Introduction

Manganese bronze – copper casting alloy UNS C86100 is an alloy of copper, zinc, aluminium and manganese. Manganese present in UNS C86100 offers an attractive chocolate brown color which is widely used in architecture. The presence of lead improves the longevity of the alloy.
