Introduction

Manganese-aluminium/aluminum bronze copper casting alloy UNS C95700 is an alloy of copper-aluminum-iron and copper-aluminum/aluminum-iron-nickel.

Machinability

UNS C95700 copper alloy has a machinability rating of 50.

Welding

The preferred welding technique for UNS C95700 alloy is soldering, brazing, carbon arc welding, gas shielded arc welding and coated metal arc welding. Oxyacetylene welding is not recommended for this alloy.

Heat Treatment

The stress relieving temperature of UNS C95700 copper alloy is 316°C (600°F). It does not respond to heat treatment.
