Introduction

Master alloys are base metals which can be mixed with one of two elements of higher percentage. They are suitable for structure control and composition adjustment, and can be formed in a variety of shapes. Based on their applications, they are also referred to as modifiers, hardeners, or grain refiners. They are very economical and save production time and energy. They are semi-finished products that are used as raw materials in metal industries.
