Magnesium is usually alloyed with non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc.

Applications
Magnesium AM100A-T6 alloy is typically used in making commercial and military pressure tight sand and permanent mold structural castings. This alloy is also used in making investment casts.
