Introduction

Nickel alloy 105 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-cobalt-chromium alloy that is used for solid-solution strengthening. The relatively high aluminum content of this alloy improves the oxidation resistance and strength of the alloy. It also has high creep-rupture properties at temperatures of about 950°C (1740°F).

The alloy is produced by high frequency melting in air followed by casting in air. The following datasheet will discuss in detail about nickel alloy 105.
