Oxford Performance Materials Selects European Distributor for High Performance Polymer

Oxford Performance Materials (OPM) has selected Velox, as the distributor of its OXPEKK® proprietary high performance polymer for the European market. "I am very pleased that OPM and Velox have joined forces to bring our products to the European market" said Scott DeFelice. "Velox is a very unique company which possesses both the technical expertise and patience to bring a high value product like ours to the market".

OPM's OXPEKK® is an ultra high performance engineering polymer offering extremely high temperature resistance, outstanding chemical resistance and superior mechanical properties. The OXPEKK® product line comprises amorphous, semi-crystalline, glass filled, carbon filled grades, medical grades. OPM's main markets are oil/gas, medical, electronics and space and defence.

The collaboration between Velox and OPM is targeted to significantly increase the presence of OPM's OXPEKK® products in the European market. With this agreement, covering the distribution of OPM granular form OXPEKK® in Europe, OPM will benefit from an even broader and deeper European coverage. "We are constantly searching for high value polymer products that can service the markets unmet needs" said François Minec. "We are very pleased to have completed this agreement with OPM and look forward to a dynamic cooperation". Velox will be responsible for selling OPM's industrial products and will not be responsible for the firm's implantable material offerings.
