DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions Exhibits in China

DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions recently participated in the second annual Photovoltaic (PV) Power Expo 2008 in Shanghai, China. The event included an exhibition and conference organized by the European Photovoltaic Industry Association and the Chinese Renewable Energy Society.

PV Power Expo 2008 aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange within the industry and support growth in the PV market in China. Approximately 50,000 visitors attended the event, with about 500 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.

Walt Cheng, global business director, DuPont Microcircuit Materials (MCM), participated in a panel called to address the topic of balance between environmental protection and economic development in the China PV industry.

"DuPont is a science company, and we’re committed to sustainable growth,” Walt said. “We provide DuPont™ Solamet® thick film metallization pastes and other advanced materials to enable the photovoltaic industry to achieve a lower total installed cost for PV modules, and ultimately to make the use of alternative energy easier for everyone.”
