Bodycote Form Plastic Piping Group

In January 2003 Bodycote Materials Testing formed a new group of three of its specialist laboratories, Bodycote PDL in UK, the Swedish laboratory Bodycote Polymer AB and Chicago based Bodycote Polymer Broutman Laboratory Inc, which market their skills and resources together as the Bodycote Plastic Piping Group.

The complimentary combined strengths of these three companies represent the most comprehensive range of testing services available to the plastic pipe industry within a single organisation. The group covers all aspects from new material research, development, approval and pipe manufacture through to installation and operation as well as life cycle analysis and forensic investigations.

The latest marketing success was the Plastic Pipe Conference in Italy where the Bodycote Plastic Piping Group exhibited their combined services. The group also gave three well-received oral presentations together with two poster presentations.

With our experience, efficiency and economy of scale, we feel that our services will probably be more cost-effective than clients operating their own test facilities, with the added advantage of data being provided by accredited independent laboratories.

If you have any interest in discussing how the group may be of assistance to your company, either now or in the future, we would like to hear from you. We pride ourselves in client satisfaction.
