With Lok-it! OSRAM provides a system for entertainment lighting that enables lamps to be replaced easily without tools thanks to their special bayonet base and holders. With the 4ArXS HSD 300W/80/P28 the Lok-it! product range now includes a lamp with a small PGJX28 base as well. This smaller base means the size and weight of effects lighting devices can be further reduced.
The heavy-duty and efficient Lok-it! HTI 1500W/60/P47 discharge lamp and the P50 based on short arc technology provide even more powerful lighting on stage.
OSRAM’s Lok-it! system is a simple solution especially for stage lighting. The bayonet bases and holders are ideal for halogen as well as discharge lamps. The lamps can be replaced with just one turn within a few seconds. Simply insert, turn and the lamp is locked in position and exactly aligned. A mechanical locking device prevents the holder from being turned too far. For stage lighting it means new lamps can be easily inserted into spotlights even under difficult conditions, for example at great heights. 4ArXS HSD 300W/80/P28 – compact and efficient The 4ArXS HSD lamps are especially high performance halogen metal halide lamps, which are thermally very resistant and have a long life thanks to eXtreme Seal technology. With eXtreme Seal the maximum pinch temperature could be increased from 350°C to 450°C.
Apart from the PG47 and PGJX50 bases in the Lok-it! range the 4ArXS HSD 300W is now the first lamp with the small PGJX28 base and is therefore even smaller and lighter. It offers superior efficiency of =90lm/W, luminous flux of 30klm and a colour temperature of 8000 Kelvin. These features, along with its operating life of 2,000 hours, make the 4ArXS HSD 300W /80/P28 an ideal solution for extra bright lighting of rock concerts, musicals and TV shows. The compact lamp is also suitable for continuous operation in the architainment sector.
More powerful light with Lok-it! HTI 1500W/60/P47 and HTI 1500W/60/P50 Even more light on stage is provided by the heavy-duty and efficient Lok-it! HTI 1500W/60/P47 discharge lamps, which have a hot lamp ignition option, and the cold lamp ignition capable /P50 based on short arc technology.
