NTT-AT launched a new antistatic fiberoptic cleaner, Neoclean-E.
Neoclean-E is a simplified pen type cleaner with a replaceable cleaning cartridge, which allows the cleaning of the end-faces of fibre connectors and in-adapter ferrules. Residue on the endface of optical connectors can be removed by a simple push that provides a consistent and dependable cleaning every time.
The replaceable cartridge enables the re-utilisation of Neoclean-E, thus avoiding the disposal of the whole tool when the thread is due to be changed. Over 750 ferrule cleaning cycles per cartridge are possible.
The pen cleaner features a special microfiber tissue that removes all contaminations and secures them. Its antistatic property prevents static load that could bring new contamination after the cleaning.
The cleaners are used for a wide range of applications, including cleaning of fiberoptic connector endfaces alone and connected in patchpanels and adapters. Neoclean-E is suitable for cleaning of both PC and APC connectors. 1.25mm and 2.5mm versions are available.
The new product is available from AMS Technologies throughout Europe from local offices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
