Daltile Offers New Campisi Floor Tile Collection with Locking System

Homeowners have never before seen a porcelain floor tile with the natural beauty and simplicity of Daltile's new Campisi floor tile with Cliks.

Featuring patented Uniclic tongue-and-groove interlocking joints and built-in grout, Cliks is a modern, easy-to-install locking floor tile that simply clicks together. No mortar or grout is needed, simplifying a DIY installation and making it possible to transform a room in just one afternoon with no mess.

New Campisi floor tile with Cliks

Cliks is part of Daltile's new Campisi collection, complete with traditionally installed wall and mosaic tiles, accents and wall trim, and certified by the Porcelain Tile Certification Agency. Enhanced with innovative Reveal Imaging, Campisi tiles are virtually indistinguishable from natural travertine stone and reflect classic styling.

"Daltile developed Campisi with Cliks to provide homeowners the best of form and function for their designs. To tile a room with traditional tile and grout takes the average homeowner about three days.  With Cliks the same room can be finished and ready to be walked on in just four to six hours," said Lori Kirk-Rolley, senior marketing director for Daltile. "Plus, we incorporated Daltile's Reveal Imaging technology to the Campisi collection that produces realistic color, detail and veining unique on every single tile, creating a natural stone look with the durability and ease of cleaning found in porcelain tile."

Cliks' built-in grout was custom created to complement each color in the new Campisi collection, and with exceptional resistance to cracking, fading, staining, mold and mildew, the built-in grout is long-lasting and easy to maintain. Additionally, there is no need to mix, measure, apply or seal grout, making the installation process clean and simple. In fact, because Cliks features built-in grout that never requires sealing, Cliks floors require less maintenance than traditional tile floors.

Cliks is designed to be used on interior floors that are not exposed to standing water, making them ideal for use on entryways, living areas, kitchens, basements and bathrooms (except showers).  The tiles can be installed over any existing interior solid-surface floor, including concrete, hardwood, ceramic tile, natural stone, vinyl and linoleum. Because the tiles do not require mortar or grouting, there is no drying time. Homeowners can typically install and enjoy durable, stylish porcelain floors in the same afternoon. Plus, the total cost for the tile project is up to 40% less per square foot installed than with traditional tile, when you factor in labor and materials.

Campisi glazed porcelain tile emulates the look of crosscut travertine and is available in three warm shades (Alabaster, Linen and Sable). Campisi comes in a 12" x 12" Cliks floor tile, which can be installed in a grid or brickwork pattern. Two matching traditionally installed tiles (9" x 12" wall tile and 2" x 2" mosaic tile) and two coordinating decorative wall accents complete the series, allowing homeowners to create a finished, professional look throughout the entire room. The 9" x 12" and 2" x 2" mosaic can be installed with traditional mortar and grout for use in showers and other wet areas.

In addition to worry-free installation with Cliks, Campisi tiles are infused with Microban® antimicrobial protection, which provides a layer of protection from stain- and odor-causing bacteria that won't wash off or wear away, keeping the tile cleaner between cleanings.
