Kamweld Technologies Introduces Variety of Plastic Welding Rod to Fabricators

Kamweld Technologies, Inc. (KTI) now provides competitively priced small lot quantities of plastic welding rod to fabricators in a variety of plastic types, colors & sizes.

The rods are available in PVC (Gray, Type 1), Polypropylene (White & Natural) & High Density Polyethylene (Natural) and supplied in either five or ten pound quantities. The rods are available in either 48” long lengths or continuous coils. Kamweld’s plastic rods come in diameters of either 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16” & 1/4" round or 1/8”, 3/16” & 1/4" triangular rods.

“We talk to a lot of plastics fabricators about what they need in a value added partner like Kamweld. One thing that came through loud and clear was flexibility,” said Leonard Alter, Product Manager for Kamweld’s welding products. “Based on that feedback our team huddled and then decided one way to meet that need was to specialize in small lot quantities of plastic welding rods, offering them in a variety of plastic types, colors and sizes.” Alter went on to add that Kamweld plastic rods are manufactured to perfectly fit all Kamweld welding tips for smooth, precise, trouble free plastic fabricating. In addition to welders and plastics materials the Kamweld website offers solvent cements, cleaning solutions, hot air guns, replacement parts, test equipment, Teflon tapes and flooring installation tools.
