Phoenix Industries, major supplier of products and technology for the paving segment, has declared that they will showcase their latest patented PelletPAVE and PelletPATCH materials at the ConExpo event, scheduled to be held in Las Vegas between March 22 and 26.
The PelletPAVE and PelletPATCH materials are a matrix of modifiers and asphalt cement developed in a smooth-running pelleted appearance. The materials are transferred and stocked at room temperature until required. The eco-friendly materials save huge quantities of electricity required for continuously maintaining the hot condition of the asphalt cement. It also avoids several disturbances linked with mixing, storing and transferring of traditionally customized asphalt binders.
The company will also showcase their Model MP 200 mobile pothole patching unit at the event in order to compliment the launch of the PelletPATCH material. The unit is a bed assembly that exactly fits in a usual truck of cab and chassis type. The self contained Model MP 200 mobile pothole patching unit is operated by a PLC and it features a diesel generator, heated tack tank, PelletPATCH feeder, air compressor and a total collective feed, drying and mixing system. It has all the features required for producing customized hot mix asphalt at a repair place.
The latest innovation has made Phoenix Industries to remain as a major provider of solutions for the emerging green movement in the pavement segment.
