Chemtura, a specialty chemical company, has announced that it will display new additive innovations and will highlight its new Brazil investments at Brasilplast 2011 to be held from May 9 to 13, 2011.
Chemtura has made investments to advance innovation, technology and manufacturing capabilities. Petroleum Additives business of the company has extended the manufacturing capacity of stabilizers in Rio Claro, Brazil. The company has planned for additional investments in Brazil and other emerging markets to benefit from the high economic growth.
The company’s Antioxidants & UV Stabilizers division has developed the WESTON Liquid Productivity Platform and an advanced Dust Blend (NDB) technology to meet the demand for customized, green, low-cost and dust-free additive technologies. The business will continue its investment, innovation and growth.
The WESTON 705 antioxidant will be showcased at Brasilplast event. Other innovative solutions at the event will include the POLYBOND 3149 and DURAZONE 37. DURAZONE 37, an antiozonant, provides excellent protection against static ozone, dynamics and antioxidant. The POLYBOND 3149 is a polymer modifier that provides high mechanical performances for wood-composite, wire and cable applications.
