New custom die cut foam parts have been launched by Interstate Specialty Products, a company that provides custom die cutting services for production of high-performance membranes, gaskets, precision filters and other parts. The new parts are made from sponge foams and open- and closed-cell.
The die cut foam parts are delivered with foam tapes on both sides and pressure sensitive adhesives. These custom parts are ideal for a variety of applications in almost all industries. Some of the applications include cushions, packaging, gaskets, pads, acoustic insulators, electrical insulators, thermal insulators and vibration isolation.
The die cut foam parts can be produced using various materials such as polyethylene silicone, EPDM, neoprene, ether and Viton. Based on customers’ design and number requirements, they can be die cut, rotary die cut or digitally die-less cut.
New custom die cut foam parts are offered in sizes ranging from 0.062" to 60"x120". The tolerance range is ±0.005" to ±0.250", which depends on material and configuration. Die cut foam parts from Interstate Specialty Products are suitable for both prototypes and mass production.
