Industrial Nanotech announced that PT. Kraft Indonesia has placed a second order for its Nansulate Translucent GP energy-saving and protection coating. The Nansulate Translucent GP coating technology qualifies for NSF Registration, which assures that the formulation meets suitable food safety regulations.
The Nansulate is an ideal insulation coating for the food manufacturing industry and is safe to use it on incidental food contact surfaces. In contrast to traditional insulations, the Nansulate coating technology prevents penetration of dust, mold and moisture.
Earlier, PT. Kraft Indonesia has employed the coating to insulate baking ovens for enhancing the operating temperature, reducing surface temperature and lowering energy consumption. The application of the insulation at PT. Kraft Indonesia’s Cikarang Plant is a typical example of solutions that offer personnel protection and energy savings.
Traditional coating materials could not be used to insulate large ovens, as they consume high energy and the large surface area emits heat into the environment which affects the safety and health of workers. However, the Nansulate insulation coating overcomes these issues. It reduces the heat radiated into the environment, lowers surface temperature and decreases heat transfer. Thus, the Industrial Nanotech’s coating offers energy savings and improves workplace safety.
