Vita Nonwovens and Pacific Insulation have signed a distribution agreement to introduce EnGuard polyester insulation material to home builders in the Western US and California markets.
The EnGuard is an acoustic and thermal insulation produced from recycled PET and is 100% recyclable. It has 50% post-consumer content and is an ideal alternative to standard insulations, as it overcomes major environmental issues. The EnGuard green building insulation material is hypoallergenic and does not contain hazardous airborne irritants and chemical additives. It meets the strict CA standards on VOCs. The unique characteristics of the EnGuard make it an attractive option to the California market that is eco-conscious.
The EnGuard is a premium fiberglass alternative product and will be an ideal solution for people looking for non-fiberglass insulation materials along with high recycled content. The insulation is now available in multiple R-values and offers exceptional product attributes, which are unavailable in other competing technologies.
Pacific Insulation will roll-out the EnGuard insulation product in Northern California and stock them at its Benicia distribution center. In the Western US, phased launch will be continued.
Pacific Insulation’s Residential Product Manager, Stan Moreno stated that the green building insulation will help the company to bring quality products to its customers and reinforce its position as an industry leader in the current challenging market.
