GLASS RECYCLED’s Porcelain Product Installed at Moffett Towers

Moffett Towers’ high-rise buildings were installed with a recycled product made of porcelain from GLASS RECYCLED. The building is a research and development campus and a 1.8 million sq.ft. Class A office in California. The location of this seven-building complex is on 52 A, with every architectural building made of glass, steel and stone.

GlassMODE uses recycled porcelain products to create stunning bathroom countertops, walls and flooring

As stated by Rick Salangsang, DES Architect + Engineers’ interior designer, the GlassMODE product from GLASS RECYCLED is a proper solution for sustainable design. The company is using recycled materials, as it is working to achieve the LEED certification with its eco-friendly products.

Factory-second toilets are used in GlassMODE product, which will grind the porcelain into chips and mixes with an epoxy for creating hard and beautiful surfaces for bathrooms. An epoxy color, which can form striking designs with recycled glass chips of different color, can be used for creating custom designs, while a neutral base was chosen by DES Architect + Engineers to make a timeless look.

This recycled material has been selected by the company to use for every restroom vanity of the complete Moffett Tower complex.

GlassMODE was chosen over several hard surface materials that contains custom cast quartz and concrete stones for recycled product and supported the project to earn a LEED silver certification.

Moffett Towers is one among the important projects that utilize GlassMODE product, which contains the ITT Corporate World Headquarters in New York, Dow Chemical World Headquarters in Texas, Michigan State University and Children’s Museum of Phoenix in Arizona.
