New UV-Protectant Window Film from Solar Gard

Solar Gard has introduced a new window film for vehicles. This clear film protects passengers and drivers from harmful ultraviolet rays. It does not alter the driving visibility or the vehicle’s exterior appearance.

The Ultragard window film can block 99% of the harmful UV-A and UV-B rays, which lead to melanoma, skin cancer and premature aging of the skin. This protection meets the recommendation set by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Solar Gard has added the new Ultragard UV window film to its comprehensive product line of films, which give protection from harmful UV rays. The new film offers the advantages of a regular window film, in addition to clarity. It allows customers to conserve their vehicle’s appearance. The films meet the standards of state tint laws.

Most drivers and passengers are unaware that vehicle windows provide only a minimum amount of protection against UV-A rays, and that they face high risk when exposed to harmful UV rays. More than 66,000 people per year die due to skin cancers and melanoma. Hence, it is significant to launch an automotive product in the market that protects passengers and drivers from the harmful effects of the sun. This new window film can be installed easily. Solar Gard’s Ultragard UV film is a reasonable option for consumers to be sun safe.

Ultragard UV window film is a low-cost solution and protects upholstery, electronics, vehicle’s interior section from discoloration and fading. When a glass is broken, this film holds it together. The film is signal-friendly and features cellular, GPS, satellite radio and tire monitoring systems.
