Brilliance Auto Group will get its supply of high-power batteries from China BAK Battery, a global manufacturer of battery cells that are lithium-based. By July 2012, China BAK Battery will deliver a sample order of battery units to Brilliance Auto Group under the terms mentioned in the agreement.
This sample order will consists of five lithium-ion high-power battery units. Brilliance Auto Group will test the reliability and performance of these lithium-ion high-power battery units by utilizing them in its electric cars.
The CEO of China BAK, Xiangqian Li stated that China BAK is excited to deliver its sample of five lithium-ion high-power battery units to Brilliance Auto Group, one of China’s eminent automobile manufacturers. The collaboration of China BAK with Brilliance Auto Group highlights the market recognition gained by China BAK along with its determination to increase its customer base. Based on this recognition and commitment, China BAK according to Li hopes to get an increasing number of orders for its lithium-ion high-power battery units.
Battery cells produced by China BAK Battery are the chief components used in rechargeable batteries that are mostly used in portable consumer electronics that include portable gaming devices, personal digital assistants, portable media players or PDAs, Bluetooth headsets, digital cameras and camcorders, and cellular phones, e-bikes, smartphones, uninterruptible power supplies, notebook computers, notebook computers and electric vehicles.
