Vacumet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scholle, has introduced innovative compostable metallized packaging papers. These packaging papers have been tested and certified to be environmentally-friendly products in a managed composting plant. These papers meet ASTM D-6868 standards.
The new papers provide eco-friendly options to metallized films, foil laminated papers and paper, and are suitable for use in bags and sandwich wraps and also for pouching in a variety of applications. The metallized packaging papers are offered in different weights as well as in a range of functional performance features.
