Simula Awarded Patent for Body Armour Technology

Simula have been granted a patent for their latest body armour design. Their light weight design offers the wearer protection from handgun attacks.

The soft design, utilises Simula’s ballistic fabric architecture which is finding new uses in both commercial and military applications.

The new patent protect Simula’s design and is expected to earn the company significant revenues from royalties in 2003, based on new products that they have recently launched.
