At the Plastics & Rubber Indonesia 2016 trade fair to be held from 16 to 19 November in Jakarta, Arburg will present the high-end, fully automated and cost-efficient manufacture of standard products on Stand D-9218 in Hall D. An Allrounder 470 E Golden Electric from the new electric entry-level machine series will produce storage boxes. The machine offers an excellent price/performance ratio thanks to its consistent standardisation. A Multilift Select linear robotic system performs the parts handling tasks.
- Cost-efficient: Standardised high-quality injection moulding technology at an attractive price
- Electric: Allrounder from the new Golden Electric machine series produces storage boxes
- Automation: Multilift Select linear robotic system for efficient parts handling
The new Golden Electric series continues the success story we began with the hydraulic Allrounder Golden Edition machines. Both are designed to meet customer demand with regard to high-performance entry-level machines for the precise, production-efficient manufacture of complex moulded parts.
David Chan, Managing Director of the Arburg subsidiary in Singapore and responsible for the entire ASEAN region.
With their practical range of sizes and equipment, the new electric Allrounder machines are the ideal response to increasing international demand for "low-priced" electric machine technology, without compromising on quality in terms of equipment or production.
New Golden Electric machine series
The Golden Electric series injection moulding machines feature proven high-quality Arburg technology "Made in Germany". The attractive price/performance ratio is made possible through standardised components, such as a fixed combination of distance between tie-bars, clamping force and injection unit size. The Allrounder Golden Electric is available in four sizes: 370, 470, 520 and 570, with clamping forces of 600, 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 kN.
In Jakarta, an Allrounder 470 E Golden Electric with a clamping force of 1,000 kN and a size 290 injection unit will produce small parts boxes from PP. The cycle time is around twelve seconds and the moulded part weighs 33.5 grams. A vertically-operating Multilift Select robotic system performs part handling.
Cost-efficient automation solution
The Multilift Select is the entry-level model among the linear robotic systems from Arburg. It features servo-electric drives and is fully integrated in the Selogica machine control system. For the operator this means: only one data set, a familiar approach during programming and perfect synchronisation of robotic system and machine. In addition, the teach-in function means that the Multilift Select is extremely easy to program. The advantages of this strategy are evident. Programming times and conversion processes are efficiently shortened, handling sequences are more reliable overall and training expenses are much lower.
