Cogiscan Inc., the leading Track, Trace and Control (TTC) solutions provider for the electronics manufacturing industry, will launch Geoscan, its new geolocation system, with a live demo in Booth #3145 at the 2019 IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place Jan. 29-31, 2019 at the San Diego Convention Center in CA.
Geoscan is an Asset Location System that aims at monitoring, in real-time, the location of critical assets in the factory. It shows the precise location of the asset on a factory map, and it records the complete history of displacements including past locations, distances, etc.
It integrates with the Cogiscan Track, Trace and Control platform for inventory visibility, process control and traceability. The geolocation system also can interface with third party software solutions through an API.
The Geoscan system runs on the standard Cogiscan platform, which means that it is a very simple upgrade for existing Cogiscan customers. With the largest library of machine interfaces in the industry, Cogiscan can deliver a complete solution; including connectivity and applications such as material control, traceability and analytics.
