Corning and D-Link Sign Optic Fibre Deal

Corning and D-Link India Ltd have just completed an agreement that will see Corning supply D-Link with optical fibre cable through 2005.

D-Link are leaders in field of structured cabling, networking and other data communications equipment and will use the optic fibre cabling on its Open-Link Connect structured cabling products.

D-Link have already been using Corning’s cable in some of their products. However, the new agreement will see them brand their products as containing Corning’s optical fibre materials.
