Please could you introduce oour readers to LAYLA?
We are a Japanese company that offer refurbishing and repairing services to large electronics manufacturers such as Sony and Toshiba when they have issues with their semiconductor equipment. In addition to repairing we also provide equipment parts.
What are you showcasing at SEMICON West?
We are here to promote our new website, www.layla-ec.com, which is an online marketplace for semiconductor equipment and parts. LAYLA allows both sellers and buyers to attain a global reach. This means that manufacturers who can’t find the part they need locally will still be able to procure it from a supplier located elsewhere on the globe. This means that if you’re an Asian company you will be able to find parts from the United States and Europe online.
What benefits will your new website deliver for your customers?
Currently there isn't a specialized ecommerce website like this available. Of course, there are places like Ebay, and you can sometimes find relevant parts on Amazon, but until now there has been nothing specially designed for our industry.
We check all of the sellers who list on LAYLA, and also the equipment they are listing, which means that everything on the website is legitimate and of a good quality. We’ve built a broad network of sellers which continues to grow allowing us to provide a truly global reach with no compromise on part quality.
