Polyamide 6/10 - Nylon 6/10 - PA 6/10 30% Carbon Fibre Reinforced

Polymer Type

Thermoplastic

Advantages

Compared with unmodified PA 6/10 this grade has superior tensile strength, rigidity, heat distortion temperature, creep resistance, low water absorption, low mould shrinkage, good dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction and excellent wear properties.

Disadvantages

Very expensive. Mechanical properties are anisotropic. High melt viscosity. Poor electrical insulating properties.
