Advantages

Improved tensile strength, flexural modulus, heat distortion temperature, friction, wear, mould shrinkage and linear expansion compared with unmodified PAI.

Disadvantages

Reduced elongation at break and notched izod impact strength compared with unmodified PAI. Incorporation of graphite produces negligible electrical resistance.
