Machinability

Heat Treatment

Nicrofer 6619 hMo alloy can be heat treated at (1950°F).

Forging

The alloy can be hot forged at temperatures ranging from (2150 to 1750°F).

Hot Working

Nicrofer 6619 hMo alloy can be hot worked similar to stainless steels.

Annealing

The alloy can be solution annealed at (1950°F) followed by rapid quenching.

Hardening

The alloy can be hardened by cold working only.
