Fabrication and Heat Treatment
Machinability
Nicrofer 6619 hMo alloy can be machined by conventional techniques.
Forming
The alloy can be readily formed using conventional methods.
Welding
All common welding methods can be employed to weld the alloy, except submerged arc or oxy-acetylene welding.
Heat Treatment
Nicrofer 6619 hMo alloy can be heat treated at (1950°F).
Forging
The alloy can be hot forged at temperatures ranging from (2150 to 1750°F).
Hot Working
Nicrofer 6619 hMo alloy can be hot worked similar to stainless steels.
Annealing
The alloy can be solution annealed at (1950°F) followed by rapid quenching.
Hardening
The alloy can be hardened by cold working only.
