Shock and Vibration Test Systems

Shock and vibration testing systems have been developed in order to understand the ability of electronic equipment to respond to the effects of environmental stresses. These testing systems are force generators or transducers that provide a shock, vibration, or similar modal excitation in order to determine the performance of the product under vibration or shock loads, as well as detect any possible flaws in the product design. Many types of shock and vibration testing systems are available including mechanical, electrodynamic, hydraulic, pneumatic and piezoelectric shakers, which can be used for a wide variety of applications including aircraft testing, ballistics, and missile testing for military uses.
