New Magneti Marelli Plant in Tennessee for Automotive Lighting Production

A new Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting plant for the production of headlamps and rear lights was inaugurated yesterday in Pulaski, Tenn. This is the first lighting production plant in the United States, further strengthening an already established presence in the NAFTA region, which includes plants in Ciudad Juárez and Tepotzotlán, Mexico, and the R&D Center in Auburn Hills, Mich., with 180 engineers.

ITT Exelis to Fabricate Composite Blade Seal Components for Lockheed Martin F-35 Program

ITT Exelis has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract from Lockheed Martin to fabricate composite blade seal components for all variants of the F-35 Lightning II program. This award will support production for LRIP 6 and 7 through 2015. Production of the blade seals will take place at the new Exelis composite design and manufacturing center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
