For the first time, Arburg will be exhibiting at the Arabplast in Dubai from 10 to 13 January. One highlight of its product range that will be awaiting trade visitors on Arburg’s stand, number ZR110 in Hall 1, is the energy-efficient, electric Allrounder 570 A, with a high-speed packaging application: 24 screw caps will be produced in a cycle time of 4.8 seconds.
“The Arabian market is a growth region in which Arburg would like to position itself even more strongly in future,” explains Helmut Heinson, Managing Director Sales at Arburg . And this is why, for the first time, the company will have its own exhibition stand at the Arabplast in 2009. Appealing to an extremely important sector in this region - the packaging industry - Arburg will present exciting technology: the very fast, precise production of screw caps. “With this high-speed, high-tech system, we are demonstrating the performance of our Allrounders in the packaging sector in Dubai in a most impressive way,” claims Helmut Heinson, Arburg’s Managing Director Sales.
The Allrounder 570 A high-performance machine
The electric Allrounder 570 A will produce 24 screw caps in an overall cycle time of 4.8 seconds. In order to meet requirements in terms of material preparation, throughput and speed, the Allrounder 570 A with a clamping force of 2,000 kN is equipped with a high-performance plasticising cylinder. The material used is HD-PE. The mould was developed by KTW, and features an open, fully-heated runner system.
With this system, Arburg impressively demonstrates how screw caps can be produced rapidly, reliably, in high quality. The resulting cost efficiency ensures that the customer achieves the return on investment in a very short time, which is so important in this sector.
Energy Efficiency Allround
As an energy-efficient machine, the Allrounder 570 A bears the Arburg “e²” energy efficiency label. This is one of the measures which Arburg has initiated within the context of its corporate objective, “Energy Efficiency Allround”. In terms of the efficient use of energy, the goal is not simply to produce the Allrounders and the entire Arburg technology using as little energy as possible. Rather, the company also seeks to use its products and expertise in order to efficiently minimise energy consumption among its customers.
