Manufacturer and distributor of commercial vehicle parts, Accuride has introduced its new line of lightweight aluminum wheels called Accu-Lite at the 2011 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
The company also displayed its other brands, including Highway Original, Brillion, Fabco, Imperial, Gunite and Accuride Wheels at the show.
The Accu-Lite line includes products such as super single aluminum Duplex wheels that weigh 59 lbs and aluminum Accu-Lite wheels that measure 22.5x8.25 and weigh 45 lbs.
The Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Accuride, Rick Schomer, stated that the company has expanded its current portfolio of Accu-Lite steel wheels with the introduction of four aluminum wheels. The company’s Accu-Lite steel wheels continue to be a standard for steel wheels in the automotive industry.
Schomer continued that Accuride Wheels has been a reputed brand in customer support, supply management and product technology for over 100 years. The launch of the Accu-Lite line of aluminum wheels has allowed the company to strengthen its reputation. The company has also decreased the weight of its aluminum Duplex wheel by 12 lbs and with the new Ultra-Enhanced Finish, the wheel is better than competitive products.
