Coating Excellence International (cei), a provider of technical products and flexible packaging, has acquired Engineered Coated Products' (ECP) flexible packaging business at Brantford Ontario plant.
cei specializes in wide web extrusion laminating and coating of foil, film, nonwovens, paper and boards, while ECP, a division of the Inter-Tape Polymer Group (IPG), is an innovative coating technology company. It offers a diverse portfolio of products designed for consumer and industrial markets. IPG develops and manufactures special types of polyolefin plastic and paper-based products for retail and industrial packaging purposes.
The President of cei, Mike Nowak commented that the acquisition demonstrates the company’s focus on continued growth in key flexible packaging business markets.
