Krayden Releases Dow Corning’s One-Part Silicone Adhesive

Krayden, a distributor of coatings, encapsulates, adhesives, sealants, solder chemicals, solder and release agents with locations across the U.S. and Mexico, has released Dow Corning’s 3145 RTV non-flowing silicone adhesive.

Dow Corning’s silicone adhesive offers several benefits to consumers, including long-term protection. The material is mechanically stable, which makes it suitable for circuit components in PWB assembly. It can also be used for sealing openings around electrical leads and wires. The 3145 RTV is available in clear or gray form.

The 3145 RTV adhesive has high tensile strength as well as lap shear, peel and elongation features. The dielectric properties of the one-part silicone adhesive allows easy adherence over a variety of materials, including plastic, ceramic and aluminum. This material also retains its electrical properties when used for sealing and bonding purposes. It includes a UV indicator for automated inspection.
