Bredero Shaw to Deliver Pipe Coating Solutions for the Zawtika Development Project

Bredero Shaw, a global pipe coating solutions company, has been awarded a contract worth over $60 million to supply pipeline coatings and associated services and products for the Zawtika Development Project. PTTEP International is operating the project.

Bredero Shaw is the pipecoating division of ShawCor, an energy services company. As per the contract, Bredero Shaw will provide a three layer anticorrosion coating as well as a concrete weight coating for 10" to 28" pipes with a length of approximately 335 km.

Bredero Shaw's Kabil facility in Indonesia is a full service coating plant designed for processing large-scale projects in the Asia Pacific province.

During the Q2 of 2010, two new berths commenced their full-fledged operations at the Kabil Offshore Deepwater Port. These berths will be used for pipe shipments for the Zawtika Development Project.
